April 2020--Trip to Boulder City & Finding Out Genders

Being encouraged to Stay Home and Stay Safe, we didn't get out as much as usual, but we still got to do some fun things like sleep overnight at Grandma and Grandpa's for General Conference and celebrate Easter at home.

Here's our little photo shoot at Grandma's house

Ethan was so excited that none of the marbles fell through. :)
A Favorite Easter Tradition

On a windy day, Ethan wanted to try kite flying for the first time. They didn't get it to stay up for long, but they sure tried.
Ethan worked a lot on reading and writing while he was doing school at home. It was fun to see his progress in different areas.

Bedtime stories reading the Friend magazine

Lydia went through a phase where she loved to sleep in her tent.
Quick visit from Grandma and a yummy dinner from Cafe Rio

Selling rocks together --my kids loved finding cool rocks in the driveway and trying to sell them

Jason finished his Winter Semester and we took a fun trip down to Boulder City to visit Grandma and Grandpa Burningham. We mostly had to stay around the house still everything was closed--including Lake Mead, but we still found plenty to do! We had such a nice break there. We played, ate good food, and played some more.

Making call to delegates for Jeff's campaign

Trying out the chocolate fountain! It was a hard job, but someone had to do it! :)

We headed home from our trip to check out a few new places to live in Orem, celebrate cousin Eli's 4th birthday, and go to our 20 weeks ultrasound for the twins. We organized a fun scavenger hunt for our kids that led them to finding two presents. They each got to open one to reveal the genders of the babies. We're thrilled to have both a boy and a girl!

I love when these two are best friends!
