We had a fun time celebrating Thanksgiving this year!
Although this wasn't a Thanksgiving dinner, we had dinner over at the Travers, some work friends of Jason. Jason plays basketball with Mark and Kevin most weeks and we all have kids similar ages so it's fun to get together.
Ethan's preschool had a Thanksgiving feast, and it was fun to see him trying out some "new" foods. :)
For our real Thanksgiving Feast, we drove to South Beloit, IL to be with family. We got to be with Andy and Kimra and their family, Mike and Chelsey and their two little ones, and Grandma and Grandpa Burningham. We had a good time together. Of course we had the traditional turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, rolls and orange rolls, and pies. I brought cranberry marshmallow salad which is a tradition in my family. And the pumpkin, chocolate, and banana creme pies were also delicious!
Lydia was so cute and felt right at home with Chelsey, Kimra, and Grandma. She wanted them to hold her so she could give hugs and it was super adorable.

Besides eating good food, we had fun playing lots of game and talking.

Lydia loved Samara and kept wanting to give her toys and put her pacifier in her mouth for her. :)

These three cousins - Mik, Lydia, and Maisy were all born within three days, and this is the best picture I got of all three. Let's just say they didn't sit still much during the time we were there.

The day after Thanksgiving we went to the church building to play more games and then went to Edwards Orchard in the afternoon for playing tag outside and tasting the apple cider donuts. The weather so pretty warm for late November so it was nice to be outside.

These three cousins were so good to Ethan! He loved being with them and never complained about them not sharing or being mean. He was watching them closely and wants to be just like them.

This year we decided to do a Thankful Tree. Each night we all tried to name something different we were grateful for and add it to our tree. I think it really helped us to count our blessings this month.
Speaking of trees, we had a church activity for the women where one of the members who is an artist gave us a painting lesson. It was really well done and I had a lot of fun doing something I wouldn't normally take time to do. This is how mine turned out. :)
